Sharon Sra, MD is a board certified ophthalmologist at Alamo Heights Ophthalmology. She grew up in Houston, TX and received her undergraduate degree at Baylor University. She then went on to attend medical school and completed her residency in ophthalmology at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She also completed a research fellowship in corneal related diseases with an emphasis on dry eye and ocular surface disease. She has published several articles in ophthalmology journals and co-authored book chapters on immune related diseases of the eye. Dr Sra is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, a member of the Texas Medical Association, and the Texas Ophthalmological Association.
